Medic suggestion
i usually play medic, was trained as a medic in the Norwegian army..
anyways i think the shock paddles are the wrong thing to equip a medic. I know it is an easy sollution that works pretty well, but it is not all that realistic. In a battle soldiers don't usually die in a way that shock paddles would help them much.. i know it is asking much and won't proboably be done anything about, but instead of the medic "shocking" ppl to revive, inserting a Venflon intravenous cannula, or something like that and using a bandage or some sort of dressing would be more realistic hehe.. would this be possible to implement at one time?

I think in another post about the shock paddles and medics one of the Devs basically said the shock paddles are symbolic of what a medic would really do in the field. I think the animations needed for the medic to do what you mentioned were to difficult or time consuming.
Dont quote me on that though, my memory isn't the best. **** whats my home phone #.....?

Haha, I laugh at that animation every time I see it. It looks like the guy with the morphine is slicing at something when he uses it, like its a knife and not a syringeBlackhawk 5 wrote:A shot of morhphene like in EOD

It falls under the category of chav violence rituals commonly known as 'Toonz' these 'Toonz' are actually a primitive form of rape.

Medics should heal ppl only to half heal (stop bleeding). If they want to heal to full they go to main base to hospital or maybe movable ambulans. Healed soldier by medic shouldn't sprint too. Wounded soldier would slow you down like in real.
With new commander assets, we could have hospital tent too... something like M.A.S.H.

This is actually a really good idea! and it makes the medic much more valuable.. implemet an ambulance and make it locked for all but medic's.. and the idea of a field hospital/aid station is great! i was thinking of ambulances before, but didn't know how to make them work ingame.. but only healing to 50% and then be able to drive ppl back to an aidstation etc to gain full HP would be awesome.. think a M113 evac http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/c ... llujah.jpg for the US, a landrover ambulance for the brits http://www.lrm.co.uk/archive/military/m ... ance03.jpg
civillian ambulance for MEC? http://act-intl.org/images/w-photos/pho ... aq32jf.jpg
some chinese ambulance apc version? or thisone http://www.most.gov.cn/tpxw/200305/W020 ... 716409.jpg
and ofcourse a medevac Blackhawk for the "allied" side

I doubt that people will go all the way back to the main base just to get an extra 50% health back. Since it doesent take many bullets to take a person down 50% or 100% health.
I don't think an ambulance is good either, most of the time the ambulance will just drop of the wounded soilders then off he go again and the soldiers now has to make there way back to the squad. A lot of dead boring time running back if there aren't any means of transportation avaible.
I think people will value being with the squad at 50% health higher than going away for a few minutes just to get some more health back.

Damn why sometimes my posts disappear? :/
repost: Paddles should go away. Critical hit should be albe to be healed with some patching or whatever, every hit should be able to medic to heal only to half (stop bleeding). So if he want 100% health he need to go to hospital tent (on main base, or maybe asset build by commander, or maybe some ambulance). Wounded soldier should have no sprint, so it will slow down his teammates, like in real...
damn, now i see all post including mine :/ weird
so reread all post after mine.
Medic could still heal ppl to 100% if it wasn't critical hit. So if you were 55% of healt he will heal you. If you were critical, then only 50% max, and no sprint. You want to stay with your squad, ok. But putting strategical hospital tents by commander, could give advantage to team. It would require lots of gamplay testing. But for me it could be lot better, then now 5 ppl dead by granade, 1 medic survived, he revive those 5 men and heal them to 100%...
Medic cars, like repair/resupply cars. Now they are rarely used, but if used well they help their team lots. Same model even, with different skin...
It will need even more team work, and affraid of beeing hit...

Exactly! and that again would lead to people beeing a bit more cautious, and appreciate the medic a bit more than they do now!CyC_AnD wrote:

yes as per real life..most of the time the ambulance will just drop of the wounded soilders then off he go again
It would also be even more realistic... hehe.. everybody are so interested in getting the guns etc as accurate and realisticly modeled and true to real life as possible, but when we mention something that implies that when getting a real hit they have to be brought back to an aidstation or similar it is "bad".. no pun intended
