Not true...

If there is one 24/7 server, it should defintely be Al Basrah...

Just look at that socre:

What I am talking about has nothing to do with score. Caring about score actually hurts the game. What I am talking about is teamwork and working together as a team with a commander, and I usually don't see that with DEVFile.

Then you should get on the server and change that!

Its too bad that the only way for this server to even get players is to run a 24/7 Al Basrah server. Al Basrah is a good map, but it gets very tedious very quickly. Shame that a lot of players dont even JOIN a server if the map isn't constantly Al Basrah though, there are so many other great maps that never get played... :-( I would personally play on Devfile a lot more if it werent a 24/7 server, it gets good ping for me and it has good admins...even if some people have a problem with the map 'rotation' ;)

It falls under the category of chav violence rituals commonly known as 'Toonz' these 'Toonz' are actually a primitive form of rape.

I do, but I cannot do everything myself.

Teamwork, in most cases, does generate quite a high score. So it's the best of both worlds when done right. ;-)

Anyway, back on topic, maybe include the 32 Player map size every few rounds? (64 player 2 or 3 rounds, 32 another 2 or 3, back to 64) I dunno. Sorry to say I skipped/skimmed through the thread a bit >_>;

In BF2 its not the map you play, its the people who you play with, that makes a round good. I find Devfile a good place to hang out with vets and chictchat while waiting for a Humvee to cross the bridge.

If you look closely you'll see that its not kills that gave me the 1st place spot in the score chart. If the score chart system worked by number of kills then I would have had the 3 spot, but it works with number of objectives a player completes and the number of team assistance.

As you can see(highlighted in red), I got the highest in objectives category and team assistance. Also as you can see my name is written in GREEN cause I'm in a squad. Put all that together and you'll get teamwork.

Perhaps if you renegotiated a new contract with some bonus plans Allah would return to bless Devfile and bring back 24/7Al Basrah.
I agree with almost all the previous posts but I still play Devfile for the longest time of any server.
There are a lot of newly converted players but there are also a lot of vets so it's a good place to learn the tricks of the trade.
Like someone else mentioned, you can join, play or 30-45 minutes, have fun and still help the team out which isn't really possible on many other maps.
I pray to my neighbor's dog that the server is returned to operational condition in the near future or I cannot be held for the consequences.
And as the windshield melts
My tears evaporate
Leaving only charcoal to defend.
Finally I understand the feelings of the few.
