High resolution Mini-map ...

Post by theSASTA »

HI there fellas!
Dont know if its been posted before but would it be possible to raise the resolution of the minimap (hope it will still be in there in 0.6 ;) )?
I dont want some rendered map of the city but if the squad leader needs to lead his squad (thats his job, right  ) to a definite position its hard to tell streets from buildings.
Maybe give insurgents some sort of handwritten map (ie. with ammo dumps on it in albasrah). It took me ages to find a dump for my empty´d SVD and when i found it some us-grunt shot me :(
I know... study the manual... but task switch wont work out very well
I dont want the locations of the weapons... just ammo dumps.

try adjusting the resolution of the mini map in the general settings in BF2 menu. Then you can see difference between buildings and roads easier.

What setting?

You can change how transusent or invisible things are, but never seen a res option.

P.s sadly feel this is just a little confusion and there is no res option....... :-( please prove me wrong though!

I'm asking the same question, there is no setting in the menu to change the "minimap resolution".

You can go ask your team where the ammo dumps are... One person is bound to answer your question...

...eventually maybe, after you've continually asked and got nothing but silence. It would be very useful as an insurgent player if the closest ones were marked on your HUD, or even the map.

Perhaps you can print the map out from the guide, but that's... Geeky, haha...

It's not that hard to remember. (There are only 12 locations, some of you can remember more than a dozen MacDo locations, so how's this any harder?)
