n00b requesting training

Post by n|ghtshader »

Hi All,

I'm new to the game and I was wondering how one finds a well organised squad to train with? I've played a couple of games in a squad but they've been totally chaotic: very little communication, more of a "run and gun" affair. Not at all like the excellent "Project Reality Squad Training" videos on YouTube:

While this is kind of fun, it would be nice to learn how to do it "properly". So I was wondering if anyone knows where one can get "n00b training" with a well organised squad?

I'm in the UK in case that bears any relevance.

Cheers for your help

you should probably look for squads called "voip" or "teamwork" or something similar. It's not always easy to find a good squad, but just keep trying.

the problem being that sign-ups have been closed.....sorry mate.

but yeah, good advice is to pick a squad like 'teamwork' or 'voip', that way you know there will be a lot of communication and skill involved.

oh, and asking on the actual server does actually help as well, as there are always people out there with the proper knowledge and there is always a decent group of players in a teamwork squad.

just keep at it...

im not leet player but im know what is teamwork..if im marksman i go a bit away from the squad, inform SL, that im in position and if that is ok, then i cover them, if i miss someone, i inform squad that i let someone through...id SL says that i got to stay while they go away..i stay, so it isnt always just holding to your group, it is about listenintg to your SL aswell.SL should listen to commanders, but i dont see any commanders in PR(i was once, and i helped them mush i think(everyone was saying that i was good..and we even won)), the role of commander is spotting enemies, which squads fail to see.Comander knows wher most of enemies are holding, , but before giving orders he should check the sides of enemies (snipers, marksmans covering from sides) and spot them all, alsocommander see movin enemy squads, and (if have IQ50+) predict where are they going.

on short, further away from group=more talking needed
