lol @ No Fear comment

I'd like to see more transport vehicles, when L-AT becomes a limited kit. Can't get anywhere without being hit by three RPGs in one minute flat these days. Good luck trying to man a .50 for more than a minute.

Well if a squad IRL has a Humvee it would work in the game as long as you could limit each vehicle to the assigned squad. I would hate to see more vehicles added and one squad role out with two or three humvees. It happens now with less vehicles. People have no respect for the humvee etc. You see them scattered all over the place and left for dead. I don't know how many times I have seen the ammo truck on Al-Basrha just driven to the front line and parked somewhere doing nothing.

I think the main thing is to tweak the ammo resuply abilities so that you couldn't sit there and resuply 50 rounds for your AT. Perhaps a limited amount of ammo per vehicle and to resuply the vehicle you would need to drive back to the UAV trailer etc.

The vehicle could simply be a vehicle drop request which only takes 10 seconds to drop and is only available at the main base to SL's. If the push for PR is larger maps requiring a co-ordinated attack it would be nice to see squads rolling in with vehicles focused on transport and limited resuply instead of one or two squads flying in and the rest of the team hicking 5-10 minutes across the map.

Long Bow's idea would have the additional advantage of encouraging better squad work in general.

they break easy and are no threat unless it's Jihad time.
Also they don't give ammo.
For those of us that play way too much Al Basrah, when we see a bike, it's always jihad time.

If most maps had 3 or so bikes, I don't think any armor would last more than 1 Q-spot.

Can you imagine bikes on Greasy Mullet?

EOD mod has a 2.5 ton truck. Sadly their seat map sucks for it.

Out of curriosity, does the USMC even use bikes? I was wondering why we got them in Al Basra, and why they where randomly located all over the place (US bike near palace IIRC).

Expendable Grunt, the bikes aren't assigned to a faction. Only when one side uses them are they locked to the other side.

Take the truck like that

Let it realod and repair armor

hold troops

and take a crewman to drive it

then just get rid of the other support cars
