Whats happening with prmm?

Post by Xeres »

Hi guys, ive been reading the forums and following prmm for awhile now and i really the new models ect you plan to add, however since you gave out the 0.2 change list and then the helo renders everything has gone very quiet. Can you please tell me what you are up to?

Allso, would it be possable for you guys to start doing mod updates every week like the dc guys as then the community can see the progress of the mod (and drool over all the pics :P ).

Thanks,
Xeres

I can say that version .02 is coming along nicely and with a bit of luck we'll be able to let you guys have it shortly.... (whatever shortly means is up to the devs but they are as anxious to release as you are to DL and play it. ;) )

Seriously, I don't have an exact number, maybe one of the more mathematical of us Testers can give the exact number but we are a handfull plus! ;)

you mean one of us who care to take the time...

it's simple really... take the nr of tester forum members... substract the number of devs.. and voila.. that makes 60 of us... but tbh most of them aren't very active... the main reason you see so many posts by testers is because the greatest spammers have become testers.... :p (*cough*blake*cough*brokenarrow*cough*)

well that'd be up to the devs but i don't expect they'll give out a new changelist before you get your hands on the real thing... don't quote me on that though...

Missed a name on your spammer list....
A hint, it begins with Wolf and ends with master.

Wolfmaster = King of :31_spam:

(trust me, he can't help but reply to this post. Won't be long...... )
hehe

Edit:
About the numbers of testers, I was being a bit elusive because I don't want to begin leaving out sensitive information. And also, yes, I am too lazy to do the math! ;)

dont worry i'll be careful with the things i say... what does it matter if he knows how many testers there are? i mean, we don't exactly make a secret of it *looks at sig*. :D

Q.E.D is latin well actually three latin words Quod Erat Demonstrandum
and that, in turn means something like this:
"which was to be proved or demonstrated"

So, I said in my previous reply that you could not help but reply to that post, and you did. Q.E.D. You proved my point.
Did that clear it up?

Off topic to the N:th degree....

I meant official testers, with the fancy sig. Not ordinaries like me.

EDIT: Oh and btw, does PR have a PR server? or a BF2 server?

In PRMM.01 serverbrowser you have a little textbox where you can enter searchterms. I believe the caption for that box is "Type PRMM here for servers"
To clarify, PR is not out yet, the Mini-Mod, PRMM is.

I believe Wolf is referring to official testers. Not all of us make use of the fancy Tester sigs though.

Ya, because I actually made mine, which took:

Installing sligthly less than legal version of PS
Learning how to do everything
Making sig

But i like it the way it is now, I even updated my Patton quote!
