And Like El Vikingo said, how long would this map take. You could cross the map in a matter of minutes, it would be over to soon.
Maybe better to defend some stationairy ground object, headquarters building or radar installation or something. Just make it so that ground forces enemy cant reach it.
slow plane. fly the ac130 in dcon. thats a pretty slow plane.

and no one has addressed way points? i really have to ask: are you guys ignoring large amounts of the posts on purpose?? not mad, just curious.

and i would like to see kensei, a former marine, when he meets the morone IRL. he probably would insult him in his face. :roll:

The difference with my <DRUM ROLL> is that I was just razzing the guy, hence the reason I put a " :P " and a "lol"...

How can you not know that jets can be added to the map? As if it really is a matter of logistics, that's why I thought it was funny.

Yeah, I can insult people to their face but usually don't have to. People tend to take the advice to "Keep their mouths shut so people don't know how stupid they are" in public. However, people sure do drive like morons when they are in their cars locked away in their own worlds don't they? Go figure...


For instance, look what you just posted at the end, why does this have to keep being reposted, why can't you just read and reserve questions that are appropriate, not that have already been answered several times...

That's my point right there... Just read, please? I'm not being sarcastic at all. Get on here reply to my post, but know wtf you're talking about first, that's all. Now you have yourself a good day and know that what I'm saying is valid. If you ask another question or respond in a manner that implies you haven't read everything, I will not respond to you. I despise redundancy as well.

That has nothing to do with the price of rice in China. Plenty of Marines weren't "hella-smart" or "hell-bad ***", lol

At any rate, there need to be more methods of extraction. Make it varied.

I wouldn't mind having Tears of the Sun moments in Mao Valley escorting some lucky VIP on foot through the jungle while being closed on by enemies...

Sounds pretty fun.

First off, let me address the point.

I think this would work great in a tournament or clan match. On a pub server...... maybe not. But then again extraction isn't always so hot on the pub servers, so whow knows?

They mentioned having an 8x8km map with an island surrounded by ocean. That would be cool. Maybe have a checkpoint right over the island, and have the island be a fortified structure with static AA to be taken out. And then maybe have a carrier with zodiacs off the shore so that infantry can assault the island and neutralize the AA.

Then you could just have the cargo plane stay in a holding pattern with the other planes patrolling around it until the all clear is given.

The only real major problem is that in a public game there's no way to make sure good players get the planes and not tard players.

WRT the drama, here's how I see it. Someone came on saying "won't work, lock please" even though they had no idea what they were talking about. Almost everyone proceeded to shit on a good idea, and someone got pissed and told the "lock please" guy off.

Seems like all's well to me.

the point was, he was implying that you would be too cowardly to insult them :D and i was saying you probably wouldnt be too cowardly.

anyway, yeah, thanks jp. i dont see what the big deal was fo sho. i am usually very competition-minded, so most of my ideas only work for competition.

basically all im suggesting is extract or escort with jets.

What kind of aircraft do you have in mind for the escort? IE C130.

Nice, glad it's plausible.

Model & Skin a personal jet, or C-130.

Maybe Air-force one! <---That would be kind of cool. :D
