ANA vs. Insurgents style level

Saw a bit on channel 4 news today about British troops training the Afghan National Army, and saw they were using SVD, AK47, type weapons.

I thought it might be an interesting map idea to have either an MEC vs Insurgents or make an ANA faction (everything you would need is already fully modelled, ie AKs, RPGs, RPKs, PKMs, Arab skins etc. so all you'd need is a flag and a little bit of coding) so that the ANA were dealing with Insurgent uprisings.

Especially since PR is set in the near future when (allegedly

) Coalition troops will be out of afghanistan and the Taleban defeated and the ANA in charge, there will no doubt be future Taleban insurgence.

PR is very "West Vs East" at the moment and I thought it'd add a more interesting edge to the gameplay to have maps in a totally different theatre in a situation which sadly but probably will be very common indeed in reality.

Thoughts/critisisms/crushing putdowns?

so it's MEC vs. insurgents, with a different name, cool twist. but you don't get the cool equipment like challengers or cobras.
but yeah a few maps like this wouldn't hurt

yeah give the ANA some T 62s, BRDMS, umm maybe BMPs {i guess they would have to be modeled

}

I suggested something like this in the "PR's new factions" thread. What I suggested was a MERG (Middle Eastern Republic Guard).
