[?] How to set up a PR map??

Post by Outlawz7 »

Well, title says it...I was trying to do a PR map, but had problems...
well, it was sort of weird, that the default texture of the terrain was pics of "Uncle Sam: I need you" poster....
But if I want to test a map, I need to set the level settings, which is a bit tricky, since there is nothing on the Level Settings window..
In vanilla, you had the MEC, US and PLA in those tabs, so you could choose what factions do you want...
But in PR theres nothing..so how do I set up the teams? I wanted MEC vs INS or GB...
And I cant spawn any vehicles on object spawner...so no tanks or jeeps or etc..blank list..
Can Devs help me or is this the secret recepy of the R-DEV family  ?

Now the editor should work with PR.

Well, Ive finally managed to get the v1.3 editor....somehow it popped up on my desktop, when I thought, I havent succesfully downloaded anything...lol

So the only prob now is, that I dont have any static objects in the editor..cos there arent any on the list..
under pr_edit, it just has the folders, but nothing in them...so how do I import the buildings and such?

Extract the BF2 objects (Battlefield 2/mods/bf2/objects_client.zip, objects server.zip) into the PR_EDIT objects folder. Then extract the PR objects into the PR_EDIT objects folder.

Well, Im looking for the "Palace" building from Al Basrah...
Where is it, cos I cant seem to find any PR objects. I know, theres a lot of stuff from Special Forces (cargo plane, airport terminal etc)

Also, last time I made a map for BF2, the map crashed every time, after I added the roads into the map...any idea, why?
