Unmanned airstrikes and laser painting

Mongolian_dude']Missile strike needs tweaking big time. Those were just side winders they fired! They aced the airpower but the inf was letf intact.

How about using one of these beauties to launch the missile? Wouldn't even have to be user-operated, or at least not until the mooders had time to introduce it.

Basically, they fire missiles that explode above a target and rain down either:

a)Bomblets for taking out infantry OR

b)Anti-vehicle mines for destroying armoured vehicles/convoys.

They would be sweet.

i think it would be more realistic if a painted target would put up a target on the pilots HUD, and then the pilot could engage it.

AFAIK , mavericks are fired without any tipe of painting by inf . , they just see the heat signal of a tank and fire .

It woulsn't take the fun out of fliying on a map with no airsupport, other than choppers.
AFAIK airfields are often not in the combat area.
Ofcourse planes will still be ingame but on a map like Qwai River or Road To Kyongan' Ni it would be nice

That's exactly what I was thinking. The Devs are great - godlike, even - and should be able to tweak it to suit PR...

I think they could, too. But, I meant that THIS version is not suited for PR.
