GET FACTS STRAIT:
THe USI devs have modeled a number of humvees, including:
Full armoured (WINDOWS and BOOT): 50cal and TOW version
Repair vehicles.
Possibly another one, but precise details unknown to me.
PR has already borrowed their TOW version and thier repair vehicle.
Therefore, the option to borrow their 50 cal version exists. HOWEVER this vehicle does not have a gun shield, this being a problem becuase almost all Irq humvees have them, and many much much more enclosed versions than the present vBF2 version.
ALSO there is the consideration of equipting a M240 on smaller maps, where the power of the 50cal would be of limited use, the M240 being better for suppressing fire a shorter ranges experienced on the average PR map.
Therefore the option to borrow, would require the PR DEVs to edit this model, this being both time consuming and might be "illegal" (black Sands rules) BUT that is just a speculation.
Those who complain to me about balance, in childish terms are a hipocrat.....jking sersioulys!, but as the PR DEVs stated before they are not out to create teams with identical equiptement, and due to the Humvees inablity to with stand a single RPG round, in know way do i think the USI 50cal humvee model with a gun shield or M240 instead would result in a totaly unbalanced game.

I thought Saddam's neck was at a bit more of an 'angle' now? Like 90 degrees?

they do, butttttt not everyone has them. like some bat.s get more or less depending on what they are doing (i think) cuz my cuz (usmc) had the most up armored hmmwvs in the whole usmc. in other words they are slowly replaceing the older hmmwvs with the newer up armored onesBlackhawk 5 wrote:I think now in Iraq they use the up-armored humvee for more protection against IED attacks.
