Removing Over/Undergrowth?

Post by Outlawz7 »

Ok, so how do you remove the undergrowth or overgrowth, once you realised, that you screwed it up? Cos it doesnt show in the editor, so the only way to know is while playing the map...

I'd certainly would like to get this removed, cos Im not mapping a botanic garden...

go into the terrain editor, go render>draw overgrowth

select the overgrowth tool, select a overgrwoth materail, paint a little bit extra on the ground, then remove all you want to remove, regen your overgrowth, save your overgowth.

Yes, I did....its just confusing, cos it doesnt show up in the editor...
Also, when I first attempted to make a map, I could see the texture I applied. Now, I got to click Merge everytime, I paint, so it shows up...related maybe?

go render>overgrowth mode, will show you excatly where you have painted your overgrowth. also do it with your overgrowth also on (note: overgrowth MODE and draw overgrowth are 2 diffrent things).

Well, I had the same for texturing Render>Texture, whatever its called...and it still didnt show the texture, I applied :S..Ill try again..
Also, is there a way to perfectly snap/align something to another thing?
Cos I was making a bridge, and the wooden piece wouldnt align to the first one...geez...
