Looks nice. Ditch the antennas if you're using it for BF2, though, as I'm pretty sure BF2 has some pre-coded ones that wave around when you turn the turret and stuff.

Yeah, good work on that! I hope PR will eventually have that tank too. Nice to see that people aren't still basing the PLA on the 1950's and actually developing the faction.

'[R-DEV wrote:eggman']I dont think 10k polys is too much for BF2 as long as you have good LoDs.
You know more then me about this, but the BF2 poly count limit says

Tank = 6000 incl.integrated Kit parts in the mesh

Yup, but if your first lod is very efficient and cuts polycount down to 2500-3000, its not a huge problem. 10k model would then only be used when you're really close to the tank, and is blocking most of the screen.
But yes, if you're doing tanks for BF2, 6k tris would be better to aim for.

I'm not 100% sure but I think some dev told on vid that far cry 2 tanks are around 10k++.
Far cry shaders are brilliant. With good normal and spec maps this will look fantastic.

Heh.. on cgtalk.com I've witnessed dozens of 3d art thefts. Some cases even large companies used art that they didn't have any copyrights.
However most of the thefts are video scenes from someone else's demoreel.
