I hate to post this, because I have the feeling its posted somewhere, but I didn't found anyting with the search button...
I was wondering what technique you guys used to make the 17km sq maps...
you must use 1024 x 4 right?
do you still use a 1025px image for heightmap?
could someone point me in the right dirrection for the 17km maps particularities?

Add this line of code to the end of the terrain.con file in your map folder above endIf.

Its an open area tank/armor/infantry battle sorta map....with helicopters (x2 for each side and 3 transports helis for UK and 2 for MEC)
I just hope all the tanks and helis dont lag the map much....it will only have about 12/13 static objects (well it is a desert and you dont find much in a desert!)
