anyway, getting rid of the point system? that wont help anything. why dont we just get rid of tickets then too? we could just play one map the whole time, not caring about the outcome or how well we are doing. basically every server would be devfile. which, if thats your cup of tea, go for it.

its not all about teamwork. PR is a GAME. a large part of pr is teamwork oriented, sure, but usually, if youre working as a team, then you get more points anyway. if anything, the points encourage tw... dunno why you guys think differently?

eliminating in game score would be the biggest f*ck up this mod could do. i dont want to play real life. if i did, i would go outside.

Squad leaders can get a ton of points if they play like they have a pair - but basically the SL's reward is winning, not points.

its hard to figure which could be the result of eliminate the ingame score in the playing experience, also I have no idea how difficult its to make it...I only say in case it no take to much effort to do ,this its a change that could modify a lot the way we play actually you can always go back

I'd certainly support the removal of points. Like its been mentioned, support roles don't pay off in points at ALL compared to getting kills. That's why you see more Spec Ops running around than any other class.

A server-side option would probably work best I would imagine.

get rid of stats, not points. in game points are important for telling where you need to improve and how well you are doing. you guys play on devfile too much, where people play for points. on hoc server and other servers i like to play on, points arent that big of a deal. no one really cares.

I opt for ridding PR of points once and for all. The whole idea of getting points not only impedes teamwork on servers, but is totally unrealistic! Anyways, the points just make for competition between players on the same teams for kills, which in turn causes there to be more lonewolves with spec-ops kits and teamkills for crewing vehicles. Overall, the point system is a little too arcade-like to me and I would be elated if it was removed.

getting rid of points is the wrong thing to do. getting rid of the people who point whore... that seems like a better idea. and pr seems to be doing it. so problem solved in my opinion. i like to see my score, that doesnt mean i ignore teamwork. the points show how teamwork pays off. thats the whole idea...

No points would lead to less teamwork as the more mundane tasks like handing around a CP to take it/healing/repairing/transporting.

The people who come top are usually the ones who get a lot of teamwork points. There is a points audit coming up so things will be tweaked so more points are given to the teamwork tasks and less for killing.

If people don't care about points then they don't need to look at them. Simple.
