ha , lack of britsh maps , ok nevermind ....
-.-
Sometimes i get the feeling that some Americans choose to forget that there are other nations in country and that its not just them fighting the war.
Brits hold all south iraq, the issue has been raised before and dev said they would change this for the next release.
Ten-Four...
Why do men always try to justify death? Is it arrogance?
Ok, ok. Very important question. Since brits are now in Basra, when the map comes out, which side of the road should we drive on? I mean, while driving the Land Rovers, it would make sense to stay on the wrong^H^H^H left side of the road, but the insurgents probably prefer right side. So, should the British drive on the right side in order to avoid head-on collisions with passing suicide cars? If yes, it could get really confusing with the steering wheel arrangement on British cars...

[R-MOD]BloodBane611:"Romagnolo, you definitely deserve a LOL award for that."
Ah looking at the Brit equipment 4*Apc's basically with no MBT or airsupport (other than SA 7 bait cobras), aren't the attacking forces being nerfed. at the mo its the MBT & A10's & Cobras that do the damage out in the open.
This is now a slug fest btwn ground troops AND one where the insurgents have the upper hand given their more powerful rifles.
Take this fact coupled with the medic changes (noone will want to play that kit now) i'd be surprised if the Brits ever take village.

could we at least get a big fat merlin, i mean it's a pretty long walk... and *tear* flying transport is all I've ever known... *cries uncontrollably*
can we at least *tear* keep the forklifts?
I can't wait to land in the desert, opening the ramp and seeing a squad of British soldiers run out and secure the area, before lifting off and going back to base.

Honesty, I think the Brits would have a decent ADVANTAGE in Basrah. They have optic sights on their weapons. In open conflict they would have *at least in my experience* a very good chance to whoops the Insurgents @$$es. How ever in Close combat the fields would be more evened out. The L85 is and effective CQB weapons giving its fulling automatic firing. And the better sights will still give the Brits and leg up on those Rusty ghetto AKs.
