i need help with voip

ok so my headset broke so i decidede to buy a new one.

i use skype quite a lot so i decided on one of those skype ones since you get 30 mins of free calls included.

anyway, my problem is, when i connect it up (via the soundcard) i can use it perfectly well on skype and quite well on ts, however voip doesnt work ingame on either pr bf2 or 2142/

its getting really fustrating. my old headset was a usb one and im thinking mybe i should just go and swap it for a usb one or something?

anyone have any advice as to how i can get it to work with voip?

What exactly doesnt work? Does it show the green speaker but noone can hear you?
Also, did you use the BF2VoipSetup (can be found in your BF2 folder)?

the green icon shows but people say they cant hear a word im saying.

i havnt tried the voip setup tbh thanks for reminding me, fit never worked with my old headset yet people could still hear me with it so i forgot all about it.

i will try it, thanks for the idea.

yeh i still get nothing on that voip setup thing >_< this is driving me crazy.
