Lol I agree, with the nade launcher granades too. It always makes tossing a nade a VERY interesting experience. I also notice a rediculous amount time before I can actually toss the grenade...like I pull it out and then admire it for sometime, give it a name...and then throw it. Maybe this is intended but sheesh I could toss the thing a hell of a lot fast than that. I like that you have to wait before you can throw a second one, but not waiting for the first one.

Agreed.... I want to lob the little fecker real quick at times.
Also..... why oh why oh why does the grenade NOT explode when you've gone through the naming process, thrown it at the enemy, been killed by them, and a LIVE egg is sitting amongst your killers saying "Don't mind me: I'm Gordon and I can't harm you now cos my master is dead. Yeah, yeah.... I know he primed me but don't let THAT concern you: play on! Dance on his twitching corpse.... I'll just disappear".
Pish!

and they can fuck off when they dont explode at all.

but they make up for that gayness by being able to kill some 1 if they hit them in the face, which makes me laugh

Well considering you would have to get it out of the pouch and arm it etc etc etc, im sure it takes more then the like 5 seconds that is ingame now ;)

Not really. From everything I have seen/heard, they are usually in a fairly accessible location, and can be reached and primed and thrown probably within 2-3 seconds. 5 seconds is an eternity in a firefight.

lol yeah i got Tked for bouncing smoke nades off pilots heads waiting for A-10s... all good fun, I only ever managed to hurt them with it though..

so you can actually kill with them eh?... hmmm i'll have to 'wing' an insurgent and then see if i can finish them off with a smoke nade, sounds like a fun new gamemode for Basrah.

One time in vBF2, I was playing on karkand and was on one of the roofs in the far northwest, about 150 yards from the square. I had a clay more on the ladder, but some one was throwing nades at me. I peaked over the side just in time for his nade to hit me in the face and I died. I was utterly bewildered and confused lol.

I think the delay also takes into account that you would have to put down your weapon or "sling" it in a way that it isn't impeding your throw, then grab the gernade etc.

I do hate that your last breath used to toss a nade in a bunker is for not, you should get the satisfaction of shredding your enemy from the grave

Its been a while since I have thrown a gernade, ok never but I would imagine they don't bounce very far?

That's why I see ppl use granades so rarely :/
I love them, phisics are not that bad, they bounce a bit to much maybe, and they could roll more on ground (espessialy on tarmac). In comparison to the other games, I feel bf2 have them one of best, espessialy simulation of throw and accuracy.

I've never had problems with the grenade.

There's one thing you should learn before meesing around with them...and thats respect.

For the spawn cars, go up to them and "DROP" the grenade inside them and SPRINT!

Oh yeah, and physics is probably HARDCODED.

For 203 bombs, etc. I think there is actually a fuse on them IRL, so that they won't hit something right by the shooter and blow up. Works by inertia, I believe.

More guns and bullets make bad guys go away faster,
which in turn makes everyone in the area safer.

I find the grenade bouncing of the ,203 really useful.

e.g. in windows or corners.

The 40mm rounds fired by the M203 are fuse delayed and must spin a set number of times before the explosive will arm. Its a built in safety. Doesnt mean you can't use it at very close range (not that you'd want to), you just have to trade linear distance for height so the round gets its spins in. I think it need to travel about 40 yards before it arms, but its been a long time since Basic, so I forget.
