THATS WHY IT SHOULD BE LIMITED TO 2 TAUNTS PER LIFE, similar to how you can only call a medic twice when you die. as far as religious/race reasons, ok maybe not allah ackbar but i dont see anything wrong with yelling like YEAHHH and GET SOMEEEE and HOOAHHH but really i cant see anyone getting offended by allah ackbar i mean thats what happens in real life.

No offence but using this as a reason is a bit of a thin defence. In game I can knife some one, set an IED and blow up a whole squad in a Humvee and shoot someone at close range from behind, all acceptable. I however am not aloud to taunt, in a non racist or derogatory way, the enemy becuase that would be an offence? I would politely say that argument is not valid.'[R-PUB wrote:A-10WarthogPilot']i dont think we will any time soon due to race/religious reasons...
Perhaps the taunts could be politicaly correct so to speak. Not using any form of religion nor making any reference to race. I don't know what Alha Akbar means but most of the US taunts listed are not offensive. Im sure we could come up with taunts appropriate for the army in question but not offensive.
Now if the addition of tuants is a difficult task and to time consuming I fully understand that the Devs would not add them, for this reason. No offence I hope WarthogPilot.

Am I completely wrong?
The ones on US side doesn't seem like a problem, the Arab might but then again ther is the jihad truck.
Insh'allah would be another one that you can have a hajji mutter to himself.
It means "If God wills it" which is pretty much their marksmanship training in some of these countries.
Religion is so closely intertwined with Arabic culture and language, no matter what you pick for them to say, if it's a praise or exclaimation, chances are that it will mention God or the prophet Muhammad in it.
War isn't politically correct. When it is, people die.

Since there really isnt much use for Go Go Go! anymore since no text displays means that you dont know if it was your gunner on the left side minigun or the bloke that just got into an APC 3 miles away.
It could be replaced with the 3rd and 1st person sounds but would not come through the radio, like "Ammo, here!" and "Ok, your alright. now get back to the fight!".
I would be happy to do the voice over for Allah Akbar.

If it was to be added it would have to be said correctly for full effect.

Emotes are all fine and good, but honestly, how much time do you spend in the field concentrating on making Hooahs and other chants? I dont know about you, but in my even limited experience, there is barely time to reload let alone cheer.
I do like that they have the Thank You line on the tree. Courtesy is a lost art it would seem. Don't believe me, try holding a door open for someone and see if they say thank you.
On a side-note, MajorBaker in another post about the insurgency mentioned having loudspeakers with propoganda/encouragement blaring. I really like that idea as far as immersion. Not so much the tauntings.

Its PR, its a fairly light hearted game. How many times playing insurgnet do you shoot down that blackhawk and then go hop up and down on its corpse firing your AK in to the air?

No....simple reason ... I am having "enemy sighted", "SNIPAAAAR", "MEDIC!" shouted in my ear, I dont need another thing. Sometimes it gets so bad that we have to restart a sentence when there is so much radio traffic.
I would actually prefer 99% of the voices removed, like enemy spotted ... since when would I actually hear that, 2000ft away from the guy who originally said it?
Make the voices local, just like the enemy hears, and take out the main channel/team voice of "enemy spotted".
Keep medic, ammo etc, but enemy spotted etc .. argh get rid!!! Nothing destroys your spacial awarness more when your trying to hear the direction of gunshots.
