Hey guys, I am new the mod and I am having some difficulties playing online with the mod. When I try to join a server i get a message saying Invalid CD-Key and I cannot play.

That's not the mod, try reinstalling BF2.

Did you get the patch for Battlefield 2? Not sure if that makes a difference...

did you buy the game ? if is a downloaded version , join to the netplay server , the only problem is that is in argentina :p

Yeah...

Looks like you've learnt the hard way, that pirated games don't work online because 25,000 other people have your same cd-key.

that and now EA has an IP connected to a used CD ... LOL.

That said, if it was a CD problem, with a little paitence with EA customer service, they will give you a new one. I had been sold a used BF2142 box ... as a new game, in GAME (IE I payed full price off the shelf, and some ******* stole the CD-Key why working there). Anyway, I had to prove I had the game, DVD, Cover, manual and reciept, by faxing them. Its not easy to go through, but hey.

If its legit, you have nothing to worry about, contact EA. If your not legit ... they have your IP and probably lots of personal information LOL
