I have some suggestion based off of the USMC team based on new skinning and some cool addons.
Skinning: I know this will be difficult, but the USMC Model that Battlefield 2 made is wrong. Their equipment is supposed to be an Coyote Brown OTV or IBA same with the boots. The OTV and IBA came with a collar yoke and a groin protector which is supposed to be helping against shrapnel.
Next, the Special Forces is wearing a cap from the ARMY. The USMC wears a different hat known as a 8-Point Cover which is shaped wayyy differently than an Army BDU Cap. Here are the pictures

As you can see they are wearing a shitty brown colored vest with the same colored boots. This scheme goes with the Woodland MARPAT also.
M14 DMR: Before going into the suggestion, the DMR (Designated Marksman Riflemen) is not a sniper. The DMR travels in groups or squad, maybe a platoon and isn't separated unless told to do so. The M14 DMR you have ingame is not the M14 Designated Marksman Rifle that the United States Marine Corps uses. The M14 DMR is specially customized at the Armory in Quantico, Virginia. The shape is way different from a regular M14. What your using is a M21, a sniper rifle used by the Army during Vietnam War and still in use today.

M16A4: The infantry in the Marine Corp all uses M16A4. The difference between the M16A4 and the M16A2 is that the M16A4 has the capability to go full auto and semi. Equipping all the soldiers with the M16A4 is a better idea especially the Special Ops. For the spec ops, equip them with a M16A4 + Acog or Aimpoint.
Light Anti-Tank and Heavy Anti-Tank: I do like this idea that was given in this forum. The Light Anti-Tank could be carrying a rifle and AT4 which deals large damage to small vehicles but small damages to large armored vehicles. As on the other hand, the Heavy Anti-Tank could take out the large armored vehicles using the new Javelin Anti-Tank Launcher. The Heavy Anti-Tank Kit will be issued just the Anti-Tank Launcher itself with no rifles and hard to hit fast moving target. This will balance gameplay and realism as well.
I'm sure someone has thought of the same idea and probably has posted it here (I didn't see it on the sticky post), but this is my suggestive contribution to the mod.
