Just a thought
Can we please have more maps with the US/Brits on D? Just about every single map involves the US or Brits going out and attacking. I personally would like to see some verity. Kinda like to see things shuffled up a bit! Maybe the USMC defending an Embassy in Africa from insurgents. Or something, anything to liven things up a bit.

I like the African embassy idea. I'd like something like this, but not with a fair balance. It would be great to see 20 US/Brits defending an Asset, like embassy but with twice the number attacking.. i/e 40.
Twice as many attacking with inferior tactics (no commander) and weapons. i.e. insurgents with stones and the like! A Custer moment, where if Custer players his cards right he may survive the day!

How ever just to see some maps with US and Brits on D would be so nice......maybe.....*looks from side to side* a map that involved a combined group of Royal Marines and USMC trying to hold a town after a massive Chinese counter attack, Make it a push map and have a combination of Brit troop classes and US classes.
Like every other class.
US Spec-ops
UK Riflemen
and so on
The UK/US forces have Minimal support but superior positions, they will HAVE to use very good tactics in order to survive the attack. It should be a port town, with the UK/US forces with their backs against the sea. Should be mostly street fighting. The Chinese assets have a standard Spawn time but the Allied forces vehicle's DO NOT respawn or should suffer a much longer spawn time. That would require that US/UK forces to deploy their assets carefully. It Should be a large City map. Sort of an Al Basrah ish size *just a reference* But much Greener....
UK/US vehicals
1 Challenger 2
2 Abrams
1 lav
1 Warrior
2 Humvees (.50cal Mount)
1 Humvees (Tow Mount)
1 Humvee (suply)
2 Land Rovers
1 Saxon
Chinese
6 tanks
4 APCs
5 Soccer mom Vans
1 Large Transport Helo
1 Attack Chopper

Doubt it's possible. For one, voices can't be defined to specific models so they would all have to sound like either brits or yanks. Another problem would be the vehicle locking, which I'm sure could be worked around but there are so many goals for the future of PR and I don't think this would fly above any of them.JKRMAUI wrote:that.....would....be....epic....

I agree, would love to see U.S/U.K on the defensive. An Embassy type of map would go well for a U.S/U.K v.s Insurgents.
For me, some of the best moments I had defending come from CoD. My favorite mission was a British one, where you captured a bridge (After a very intense firefight of course) and defended it from a heavy German counter-attack. With about a dozen men, you're tasked with holding off large amount of Infantry and tanks being thrown at you.
In UO, I loved the way Battle of Bulge was portrayed. Sitting in a trench or foxhole, picking off enemies as they swarm across an open field.
I'm getting carried away. But I would love to see similar scenarios adapted for future PR maps.
