IEDs, C4, (claymore gone for the min.) can they be detonated separately?

I searched in vain.. but i'll be surprised if it has not been asked before.

Its something i've always wanted to see in PR.

When you lay down several remotley detonated devices..it would be really nice to be able to detonate them separately.

Maybe one day in the future?

Edit:.. sorry maybe this should be in the suggestions forum, but i did not mean it as a 'suggestion' as such, just curious about, if it was being thought of.

Put 3 C4 weapons instead of one, that resolves it...since then each gets its own detonator

this was an obvious work-around that i first thought of.. but its quite clumsy.

I'm sure the DEVs have been over this subject at some point.. i am curious where they got to. But maybe never dicussed.

What about firing modes? You press same button to get different options. Lets say all blow up on the first mode. Press the same button again and the first one will be chosen press again for the second and so on.

we tried something like this with claymores... each claymore was a sepereate weapon, so one was on slot 4, one on slot 5, etc

it had bugs we never got straitetned :(

Tbh with IED's I prefer all detonating at the same time as they tend to be used for either APC's or tanks.

Most tank drivers aren't too stupid so if they see a bridge etc with IED's in the middle they won't cross, why people stick them in plain view I don't know.

I like the firemode idea, but i dunno if it'll work.

so firemode "a" is deploy/detonate first clay, same for b, etc..

I always just put them all at one spot, and when a hmmwv or apc comes by blow it up and then run as fast as I can to re-arm off the vehicle to deploy the c4 again and wait, I'm sure the drivers and passengers of the vehicle see me re-arming on their vehicle though in the death cam view?
