O'Really? Will trees are "decorations" so are blown up vehicles on the side of a road. These things are suppose to make the enviroment around you feel more realistic and I think Fearosius has finally come up with a great idea :-) . Plus if maps didn't have decorations, then we would just have BF2 maps.

hmyeah, okay, granted. creating atmosphere is good. I'm simply more oriented towards changes affecting gameplay.

It would be a nice additive on all maps if the ‘supply zone’ at the main base was some kind of static object as described above. An armoury to visit, as it were.

But as said, it’s likely to be a low priority, as it does not affect game play, but getting kits magically from the air just because you are within 25m of a flag is just a touch gamey for PR.

Fearosius wrote:It would be cool if near the hangar (just below the car-park), on the entrance to it, make a few benches with bags near them and a large map with the city of Basrah (from in-game) on a art holder-thing (or whatever you call it). Just a small suggestion taken from DF: BHD, and even if you wanted, you could request kits from there.

Oh yeh, could admins rename the post, Al Basrah Airport, soz and thx!

- Post your thoughts.

This sounds like a "briefing" area - is that what you mean?

If so I think thats a good idea, but I would put it - inside a building - as you do not carry out briefs outside, and make the map really big, so it can be used (to look at only), and would be a good area for videos - ie the brief prior to an Op etc etc?

well deduced :p , not sure what i was doing..off on a tangent it would appear.

ATM we have the increased game start time and commander election as our present briefing 'room'. Which serves its purpose to make squads and initial plans

Will this have a use in game or is it really a billboard with a map of the map on it?
