Gaming Kit

Post by squishy..nl »

Ok so when I plan to play PR I don't plan on gaming for like 30 minutes or so. Im going in for at least 2-3 hours.
2-3 hours behind my pc requires some equipment, thuss before I take my " battle station" I round up some stuff and make some preperations here's my list:

- one empty class
- one bottle of cherry coke
- one foot long straw (don't want those eyes off screen now do we?)
- one empty ashtray
- one pack of west sigarettes
- one lighter
- one pair of comfortable "rabbit" slippers
- one fuzzy warm sweater

Then preperations:

- if the pc was on, one fresh reboot
- soundcheck the 7.1 dolby
- clean g15 board
- vacuum clean mousemat (cleaning festish sorry)
- check weights of g5 mouse
- adjust office chair
- auto adjust monitor

Then the gaming can commence and i'm ready for battle (read, get raped) in the BF-vietnam days i had my army helmet on but after 2-3 with that thing on I had close to a whiplash so got rid of that one...

* reads own list stated above and sighs.... compulsive disorder*

what do you need when gaming?
let me know
I shall call him squishy, and he shall me mine, and he shall be my squishy

I just usually take something to drink and something to eat.
And then I go and get some more when I die. :p

patient? so patient you'll be forgetting which side you are on, so patient the enemy will be able to fire first in engagements, so patient you'll wonder where the rounds have gone!

err no not that patient.. just enough to shot YOU in the back. I believe patient is very important.

But dont get confussed between this and squads doing feck all. I'm all one for action.. i'm always shouting Move Move to my squad... but you need to have patient at the right time.

I make sure the wife knows where the teabags are, so when I shout for tea I don't need to assist.

* Sweater
* Slippers
* Reboot
* Make poor excuses to clansmates on Ventrilo why I haven't played lately.

After playing for 10 hours straight, and possibly even sober, I start to get somewhat confused. Anybody have any tips on how to remember what side you are on? I've tried "note its", but i forget to put them up.

Oh, I have to comment. One of the reasons why I quit smoking? The smoke got in my eyes and got me killed (the irony), or ... just as I light up a chopper crashes on my head. Quit smoking. It really does get you killed.

- Take a pee
- Change into my lounging clothes
- Grab a beer and a back up beer (only on friday thru sunday ;) )
- Shut down firewall, anti-spyware etc. software
- Grab head phones and mic, adjust volume
- "Lock and load PR"
- Sit and wait for a spot to open up on TG ;)

This can only happen when my daughter is sleeping and the wife is occupied :grin:

Use some Q command, when you hear something arabian then you're most likely MEC... :p

seconded. your mind stays sharp, focused and balanced for atleast 1 hour and a half.
beer and whiskeycola may give me an insane frenzy for maybe 2 rounds but then I tend to get a blurry screen which not even medics can clear out.

I freshen my drink or finish it off and grab something new depending on my iced tea stores and untangle my headset so I'm ready for a chatty squad if I'm lucky enough to land one. Oh, and fix my pants, can't go to war with messed up pants! Mwaha... PSP used to wrjtd tghs!
