I'm really disapointed that Muttrah City is not going into the 0.6 patch.
I love this map. (even if it's totally one sided in current form)
No more Muttrah :shocked: :cry: :confused: :hissyfit:
I know it's got it's problems, But surely they're not too hard to work out.
I'm really going to miss it, Beautiful map!
Why did you guys decide to drop it from the game?
I was so looking forward to it being "fixed" slightly for 0.6
What's the G.O. dev's?
Less time reading our crappy posts DEV'S, more time working on the MOD that we love :wink:

Yeah :-( check the v0.6 map list, No Muttrah. :cry:

I love thisa map as well I play normally on a 24/7 private server but its let down by amateurish admins, not saying its them all but I’m currently banned for what came up as TK when nothing of the like happened –I was working in my team and only commented that a pilot who could not fly should not have flown! Killed all five of the team oh and I think I asked someone not to smoke the ship……I think they want you to all be quiet, but what I can say is I’m never insulting.


I’ll miss it but I don’t play the other maps so it might be good for a change.


As for one sided I’ve won both sides. Team play is the key with VOIP….

Maybe its too small in its present form for the new view distances??

Maybe its time to move on. It has been around for a long time now.

If the ship had a few more boats and a apc to drive up onto the dock I’d love it more!


Surly worth the work when so many appreciate this map…….
So staying on 05 might be the way to keep playing it

yes guys, its true and to be honest, it way my dission.

Muttrah was a brillint map in v0.3, met all the needs possible and apart from the odd boat locking crash, it was a flawless map.

But as the mod has grown, with all the new rally points etc the mod has quite literly outgrown the map.

We had many ideas on how to fix up afew of the issues, make it more blanced etc, but it could never be as good as it was in v0.6 without some redical changes.

Now I dont want you guys to get to upset. I didnt want to post this untill later but now seems the time, really wanted to do this more in a offical update :p

The map is still very, very, very WIP, but plz welcome Muttrah City v2 :D

It's far too arcady though, it's a constant zerg due too the map size, I've never seen any well co-ordinated team play on that map. It's great for LB practice though :P

so we are getting a V2 map great!

Scary is that overlayed over google earth or somthing... sorry came for days with Zx spectrums and CM64's and BBC model B's and even zx81's games have jumped so much.

?? been on the 24/7 short spawn server alot?.. this map was a flippin PR classic with the right settings

Rhino what version do you actually mean in your post above.. not 0.6?

with any luck v0.7 but I can not be 100% sure since that would mean i have 2 map projects to finnish for v0.7 :p

ye the map will be really a cross between the old muttrah, and the real muttrah. So while walking around it should look alot like the real thing, but here and there you will be able to notice little bits of the old muttrah etc :D
