Like I said, it's up to the server admins. If he did it on DevFile, I'd ban him.

MY point about rank was that if Freor stood In a building for 10 minutes it was not an accident and perhaps he had done it before.
I know some of the PR officers from playing with them and they deserve their rank but I have also played with some officers that clearly were not very skilled at the basics but knew where to hide and snipe.
There was a posted screen shot of someone, who is now a general I believe, hiding in the bridge on Abdan in a glitched position.
Obviously he attained his high rank by using exploits like that and therefore I become suspicious of high ranks.
I believe Southtarnation was also an officer and while I never saw him cheat and he was a kick *** player the times I played with him, it goes to show you that nobody is above suspicion.

BTW.... there is a server that seems to carry over vBF ranks because there I am a 2nd Lt and I know I don't have the aircraft kills to qualify for officer in PR. Sorry I can't remember the name but it is very low ping to E coast US.

Cheating is cheating. Some people just find more elaborate ways to "take advantage" of holes in a developers game. By more elaborate I'm referring to hax.

Exploits that are made public and also made known as something that is a bannable offense should be treated just like any other cheat. Someone who "by accident" gets inside a building will attempt to get out for a few seconds and then suicide. Cheaters will hang around and rack up kills without regard for the playing experience of others in the server. Oh and the "good guy" defense is the lamest ever. Hey, he only hacked one time, but he is a good guy. Yeah, okay.

Ban's are usually administered by GUID, so he'd have to buy a new BF2 disc to come back.

Yeah, thats why when I helped testing the Snake Doc's Baghdad, we went looking around for all sorts of glitches, we had to glitch to see, if its possible and it was...mostly, since most of the statics are vBF2 and grappling hooks are from SF, so you need modified statics, or you'll glitch into the building...
I know, it was on Ejod, but there are all sorts of ways to get into something...
He could turn on a hack, went into a building and turned the hack off, so PB wouldnt suspect...

Have anybody seen any statement from Freor after this incident??

I was playing on the same server, and saw multiple messages where they kindly asked Freor to stop.
If you kill one after accidentally have got into a wall, that one thing, but when you kill 30 people, and they kindly ask you to stop, that’s another..

Please let him explain him self, we have all been stupid sometimes…

One thing hat was very amazing; there was not any bad language in the chat, just kindly request to Freor….

He has to explain why he didn’t pay any attention to it …..

I was in his squad when this happened. Don't have much usefull intel, but here's what happened:

I first noticed a lot of squad chatter and then read something about them being stuck inside a building (Freor didn't have a mic - thinking back I might have been the only one with a mic). At this point I was holding the line around Gardens and heavily engaged so I didn't care much about whatever they were doing in the back. Up until this point Freor hadn't set a rally point and my understanding is that the spawning inside a building was very close to the point in time when he set a rally point - like I said I was all guns blazing in the front so not sure about micro-level details.

I subsequently spawned at nearby APCs and hauled *** to the 5-yard line - don't remember seeing much of Freor or my fellow squaddies at the 5-yard line and didn't have time to look at scores.

My guess then is this; as to what occurred.. as something very similar happened to me on Jabal. I reported it some time back.

You set a Rally Point by a building wall... run off...have your fun.. but when you respawn you end up spawning inside the building.

I had to suicide to get out, only some of my squad ended up inside the building, most spwaned outside. And my rally was not glitched or even touching the wall. (weird)
I'm not posting this as defence, he should have left, and re-set the rally, if this is what happened.

Well, him not posting is his way of saying "yeah, it was wrong but i wanted to do it at the time".

There isnt anything to explain rly. He got caught exploiting and he knows it just as well as you and I do. The only thing left is an execution so hes smart not to post for a few weeks.

I'm pretty sure he doesnt use hacks.
I was in his squad many times, and never noticed anything strange about his aiming and such.

And if someone use hacks on thors-brigade or other servers using latest punkbuster setup they also have another problem....

They will be added to the master ban list and banned for life on all servers supporting MBL..

nobody can cheat on those servers without getting caught...

Glitching is not a nice thing to do, but it's by far the same as using cheats...... it's not ethical, and bad, but not a cheat ??? or???

dont think so. He's Finnish i believe. Never uses voip, been squaddie with him many times. I'm not sure he understands english.
