Can they give the Civ's some long hair and tye die shirts ?
and maybe some flowers too ?
And as the windshield melts
My tears evaporate
Leaving only charcoal to defend.
Finally I understand the feelings of the few.

I was thinking that too! Great at blocking advancing armor. Think Tiananmen Square, just stay in front of the incoming armor!

But considering this is a game I think most players would have little scruples shooting annoying civilians, point lose or not.

Cowardly and immoral? Yes.
Effective? yes
its what they did in BHD, so what if US responded in kind? (hose'em all)

Yeah, haha very funny, lets all make fun of the United States. Really mature guys. Almost as funny as your queen! Oh no, sex scandal between bush and the 200 year old lady.

On topic, its been stated here, and officially that the distance objects are rendered has been increased.

I was wondering about this, does this mean that the grass will render at long distances to? So people can't see you creeping through long grass at a long distance?

I actually think she probably just visited to sort out some of the words the US have altered, in both spelling and pronunciation. It's called English for a reason.

Do you think people aren't going to fire on the civilians just because they lose a couple measly points? It'll get old fast.

Role playing is fun, but I doubt that this crowd will be able to do it.

If anyone here plays or has played serious airsoft (maybe paintball), they know that the civilian special roles get killed just as if they were the enemy.

Yea okay, kicking for minus points, unless the point system in PR .6 is going to be massively redone, that won't be anything near a helpful fact eddie. Hypothetical here but with the current point system, i'm a medic leading my team in points on Al Basarah, Come up to 4 insugents with a few civi's around. I kill all the civi's and my squad kills the rest. [insert kiddy high school stare as if you know something will happen] And what happens I drop my points from 210 to what -15 for killing 4 unarmed civi's? Yea right, maybe not.
Looking to join another Highspeed PR Clan? Any takers?

It will be misused. It will be annoying. It IS a bad idea. Hopefully it will only be on one map... a bad one that no one will want in their rotation anyway. Actually to me if you are purposefully doing things to aid the enemy, whether it be shielding or intel, then you should be treated like the enemy and killed. Innocent civilians won't be out there throwing rocks and aiding the enemy. You have your family and your work to be more worried about then running the streets. Point loss should be minimal (-1) since these people are in fact enemy anyway. Other than kill them there is no way to deal with them. It's not like you just whacked some innocent shop keeper in the crossfire. You killed a character played by someone on the opposing team who is doing things to aid the enemy.

i can tell you theres not going to be big groups of them because you don't have a gun how much fun is it going to be through rocks for a whole round?...... yea not gonna happen because you cant really kill anything and for most people that takes the fun out of it, it will have its purpose and thats it and it will help with tking cobras/ and what not. people shooting at teammates will check there fire a hell of alot more at least i will

Read this if you have a chance..

I wonder... will prone civilians make a good hiding place for IEDs?

That is great news. This civilian thing could actually work out really nicely. Too bad you can't put these sort of penalties on stupid behaviour.

Agreed, but not just by the Brits, even if they are ahead at the mo :(
Some of the attitudes are very arrogant and narrow minded. Not to mention childish. There are far too many half hidden insults at peoples places of origin and beliefs. I wish the Moderators would be more active on these forums. I'm sick of seeing people with 2,000 posts in 4 months where half of there posts seem hostile or insulting.

edit.. it would appear the forum Mods. are likely doing a good stealthy job, from some responses, Thank you.
