Well I will correct myself now after I have thought about it, and say yes, it is unrealistic. However, it is not anymore unrealistic than maps with the US vs China, UK vs China, US vs MEC (as far as I know there is no "Middle Eastern Coalition"), or UK vs MEC. In fact, the only realistic scenarios are the US vs Insurgents and the UK vs Insurgents.

Also, I don't think this would be anymore unrealistic than the USMC vs China maps. We have never been in a large scale conflict before and probably won't be for a long time.
Are you in the third grade? Because you have obviously never taken any history lessons.
Korean War. US forces push North Koreans all the way up the the 38th parallel. Then Mao Zedong, the Chinese chairman, decided to assemble the army at the Yalu river. Aparently, from what Mao told Stalin, we were going to invade China if we took over all of Korea. Anyway, the Chinese made a bum rush with about 270,000 PVA troops and then rushed back into the mountains. This goes back and fourth and back and fourth until we were back to the North - South Korean border which is where we are today.

Anyway, if we were going to have a US vs UK engagement the DEV's would have to totally remodel the player models and make the M95's into muskets so alotta work for little reward. Pointless and completely unrealistic idea.

Actually, I have never been educated on the Korean War, so I was not aware of that. And of all the times I have watched the history channel, I have never caught anything on the Korean War.

I still don't see how it would be pointless and anymore unrealistic to anything I have said (other than of course the US vs China).

Ok, from the 1/4 of your post that I could understand, you need to go back and read the rest of the posts in this thread.

And no, this would be a modern engagement... not a Revolutionary War engagement.

No need too go OTT and mod the weapons too represent this.

Personally I would love too see this.
Exactly, see the difference in tactics and approach to what the British use and what the Americans do (shoot first ask questions later)

But is real and that is competitions between various different forces.

The key to modernising any weapon is covering them in glue and tossing them in a barrel of M1913 rails until they look "Modern" enough.

Guys... this isn't a competition about whether the UK or the US is better, so cut it out.

post war difficulties, like cold war #2 but between US and UK... fighting over newley conquered land

The American Revolution? Pah, that was a tactical withdrawal. You had to get the French to help you out to win that one, pussies.

And if the second one you're thinking of is the War of 1812, need I remind you who's capital got burned down? And also of the fact that no victory was claimed by either side.

In addition *cough*vietnam, Iraq, Somalia, etc*cough*

Also, the US has never won a major war (ever) without Europein assistance.

So you can duff up Grenada and Panama on your own. /golfclap

Suddenly, an US vs UK map doesn't seem that unrealistic.

<angry rant>You Tea Sucking ******** got Germans to help you among other European races. You ALSO had better rifles than us but still got your Queen loving rear ends handed to you. =/

And using the fact we never won a War without your help is ungrounded. We're a whole damn ocean apart from the rest of you guys, and your asses were also on the line, so you had to fight, either or not we needed your help or not.</angry rant>

This Nationalism is nice and all, but lets lighten up and stop resorting to a flame war because we love our country so much. Lets just focus on the map and discuss it and the possible causes for the map to take place without being confrontational bigots.

Just what I was going to so in a few more words, but decided not to post foreseeing it being set a blaze faster than some rebel burning the flag of his enemy while his clothing is soaked with the same gas he poured on the flag.
