.6 and body armour

Post by Expendable Grunt »

What's the difference between the "Light body armour" that militia get, and the "body armour" of the USMC/PLA/UK, if any?

i think it is not so professional and so will be not so effective, and perhaps even lighter :-D (longer sprint distance)

I have noticed that when I play as insurgent, I rarely am revivable when taken down. ie, i get shot, i die. With one of the actual armies, my chances are better (but no molotovs or hook).

This is all purely experiential though. I wonder if the manual says something about it now. Didn't last time I checked, but that was a while ago.

Of course theres a difference.

M16/M4
Bodyarmour = 3 hits
No body armour? = 2 hits

G3/M14
Bodyarmour = 2 hits
No body armour? = 1 hits

Insurgents are never put into the critically wounded state. They always "die" when their health is depleted.

If I recall correctly; if you are insurgent and try to use the paddles it tells you you are not trained to use it or something like that.

Anyways...

What's the difference between the light body armor of the militia and the regular body armor of the other armies?

Insurgents don't get body armor, I know, but I wasn't asking that.
