You're not sprinting if you can reload.

As Top_Cat said, maybe running, but not sprinting. People who run for a living (re: track athletes) have trouble handing off a baton while in a full sprint, there's no way your average grunt could reload while sprinting, and I'd venture to guess that your average grunt wouldn't be too effective at reloading while running either.

The "This isn't run n' gun" argument us ungrounded. We're talking about run n' reloadin' =P

Honestly, I like that you can run and reload. Sure, unpractical in some sense with some weapons, but I like the ablity to do so. With weapons like Pistols and Assault rifles, it shouldn't even be a topic of discussion. But Machine Guns and Rocket Lawn Chairs shouldn't be able to. It's a big ***/complicated reloading sequence that I doubt most if anyone could do while running.

My input: Small weapons stay the same. Larger weapons can't be done while sprinting. Running should be allowed for everything.

Personally, I don't think it should be implemented. Maybe for pistols as they are a sidearm and probably hell of a lot easier to reload while sprinting than an M16 or something similar.

well... as soldiers, we were trained to reload when moving, and shooting when standing still.. (read: in offensing or retreating according to drill)

the "sprint" in PR/Bf2v is at a speed at which you could reload a rifle..

IIRC the movement of infantry soldiers while walkng in game is like jogging in rl? Am I right? Ive heard that all the speeds for infantry in game is greatly exagurated..... So sprinting would be running your *** off... But I guess it comes down to how you experience the speed ingame.... just my two cents....

Just curious how many posting in this thread have actually reloaded a weapon while running/jogging?

It doesn't sound like it would be worth the effort. It is such a tiny thing and never affects me from what I have seen.
