G-Forces
I did not see any suggestions about this anywhere, so I thought it might be post-worthy.
With the new, and realistic changes to Jet speeds, perhaps g-force effects could be considered, if it is possible with the engine. It would certainly make flying jets more realistic, and much harder.

But the turns are where you really get the G-forces. Some kind of a gas effect would be cool for very steep turns.Fenix16 wrote:If the gas effects were applied to pilots when flying, I think they should only be triggerd whilst doing very steep ascents and descents. Adding it to turns might be a bit much.

also on the subject of G-force.. if its remotely possible... used to see it on old dog fighting games.. it would be a nice touch if pilots, when pulling too much g-force, got a touch of the old LSD wounded headrush effect, just for a short period. Or is this old school with modern flight suits etc..?
From what Eggman has said about throttle control, sounds like you'll be needing a stick and decent throttle to fly half decent.

no not really. Though the suit of course helps a lot the G forces are well.. just so damn huge. A f-16 can get past 8G, and that is a lot. Though I guess it should also be made so that the blur/whatever effect shouldn't happen instanty, but would require you to be in a steep turn for some time.MadTommy wrote:Or is this old school with modern flight suits etc..?
