LOL... I see a "Someone brought a Knife to a "rock throwing" party" t-shirt in the future....'[R-DEV wrote:eggman']Killing a Civilain gives the killer a penalty AND gives the Insurgents a ticket bonus.
Capturing a Civilian (knifing them) gives the Civilian a respawn penalty AND gives the Conventional Army a ticket bonus.
What happens to an insurgent that kills a civillian? (Just tk penalty?)....

I am curious about getting a crewman kit in .6.
In .5 when no one would join my APC squad I would join another squad, get a crewman kit, then create the APC squad and provide spawning support to my team.
I hear tail that players will need to be in a squad for four mins before getting a special kit.
Can't say I am a big fan of waiting around for a while waiting for another person to join the squad so I can request a crewmen kit.
Sadly, many players do not name their squads well, or make good use of the APCS.
I recommend the size of the squad for a crewman kit request to be one in order to get the APC in the game quickly.

I saw problems with the civilians, but then it's being beta tested so I regained faith. The problem is if the testers aren't trying to exploit the introduction of civilians in any way possible. ..... cos the public will (or some will).
I can see civilians just generally standing around between army and insugents, blocking the line of fire.
I see civilians being used as a human shield when capping flags. Two prone insurgents surrunded by 5 standing civilians...how good is your shot?
I see Civilian 'radar', as they can stand on the tallest building spotting everything.
It'll be interesting

One more question eggman!
What kind of penalties do the insurgents get for TKing(intenionally or not) a civilian? Is it just the normal TKing penalty or is there something more?
Say an insurgent is using a civilian as a shield and a USMC player runs up with a knife to capture the civilian. The insurgent moves to shoot the USMC player, only the civilian moves in the way and gets killed by the insurgent. Is there a special penalty for insurgents killing civilians too?
I imagine this would be difficult to work into the mod, if it's even possible. Who knows though, you guys are magicians with this BF2 engine.
