AHHH put this thread in the wrong section is all .. sry ..

And here I was under the impression teh British Army was being bought into the game.

Damn, sory. Silly mistake I know.

And btw .. the australasian slang is "hoo - ray", as in see ya later, not hooray as in cheering.

well if its brit ur on about lets get down to the very british war cries, such as the awe inspiring

"what what, pip pip.. croquet anyone?"

or the cry that brings enemies to their knees

"I say, bally good show"

and when it all goes wrong what do we cry out?

"oh blast, that really is unfortunate!"

ahhh, proud to be british... i'd say so!

Maybe in the last century, can't remeber the last time I heard a Scottish squaddie come out with any of that pish! It tends to be a lot more towards busting nuts and ripping new oriphises.

That Slavic shout (it's not only Russian) is actually exactly:
" Hurrah! " , and means nothing else like exactly: hurrah or huray
I hope it's all clear now :)
"The word shaman comes from the early Russian; originated among the Siberian Tungus (Evenks) and literally means he (or she) who knows"

Meh. I have a hard time showing love for the USMC. Mainly because I'm planning on going army, and the fact that most of the marines I've met come off as elitist pricks.

That's what I was about to say... (However I'd disagree on the suggestion that they're the best, uh oh, no offence to anybody *fetches coat & runs*) And it's exactly what one of the Paras said to me the other day when I went on the Parachute Regiment Insight Course... lol true I guess!

i know of course they arent 'the best' but as a larger scale force (opposed to the smaller spec ops communities) theyre pretty damn good.

Lmao I noticed that just after I typed it in! I wondered the same for a second, however sadly, no, I didn't notice anyone say Prick, well not in those terms anyway :-P
