And has been suggested a hundred times before.

You see...Bf2v was simply an arcade game. Probably Hardcoded too.

I like a bit of spraying and praying now and then, it adds to the drama.
esp. as insurgent with an AK.
TBO the most of the time i feel like i ve been trained by the A-Team, but thats another thing.

The soldiers in PR/BF2 reload like 80 year olds anyway... "Oooh, let me pull this for no reason. Ok, now detach this magazine.... Ooh, look, new magazine, let me hold it up here for a second, wasting precious time... Argh, damn, it didn't fit. Let me try again! Yay, it fit. Ok, now slowly lower the gun and pull the charging handle. Ok, there we go!"

I find myself sticking with what I have in the rifle a lot of the time, because reloading seems unnaturally slow to me.

I know a lot of weapons lock their working parts to the rear when the mag is empty.

With the L85 you just slap on a new mag, flick a little button on the left and the parts go forward then just tap the cocking handle forward to make sure its fully home.

Would save the animators a load of trouble.

Off the top of my head: America's Army (on some weapons), Raven Shield, SWAT 4, GRAW (including separate animations for locked slides, and slides in forward position after emptying the weapon), and probably some other games I forgot.

It's quite common.

Speaking of realoading weapons... Do you guys notice that in most first person shooters most of the guns are reloaded differently in each game... For example, an AK-47's reload animation are all different on each game like BF2, CS, Rainbow Six Vegas, America's Army, etc... So like, which game has the most realistic reload animation for a specific gun?

America`s Army does it pretty well imo.

It took me a while to overlook all those little mistakes. Although, reloading the M16/M4 by pulling on the charging handle instead of whacking the bolt catch isn't necessarily wrong--it'll still work.

I can name so many things messed up on the weapon models/animations....

Indeed.

If I recall correctly, SWAT 4 might of had the best/most realistic reloading system I have seen in a game yet. Though I don't think a game yet has taken into account having a round in the chamber and not.

This is the problem when game designers never fire the gun they are designing.

America's Army does chambered rounds.. think they let you save partially full magazines, too.

I'd love to see new reload animations for all guns, and different reload animations with/without recocking the gun.. but PR seems to have a problem keeping animators, if I remember correctly
