Help needed to setup a Practise server!

Im trying to set up a server so i can practise flying...but i cant get it going.
I can create local but since i need 2 players for the game to start, i can never request a pilot kit and therefore cannot practise flying.

All help appreciated.

In Battlefield 2\mods\pr\python\game, there is a file called realityconfig.py, and another one with debug settings (I don't remember the name). You can rename the default realityconfig.py to something else, and rename the debug file to realityconfig.py. That will make your server run with debug settings, which means lower spawntime, no kit request throttling, and things like that. That's how I practice flying and whatnot.

There's also a simpler method that lets you lower the minimum number of players from console. I'm sure someone can help you out, because I don't know the command off the top of my head.

He is right i want to practice how to fly but cant cause u know the server thing. U need one more players to start the game. Anyways i would really appreciate it if u could give me more details on how to debug that stuff ok.

all you need to do is..

start local server
when game starts press tilda key ( ` ) under Esc
then type: sv.numplayersneededtostart 1

Then you can fly in a one man squad..create a squad, request piiot and fly

you dont need to mess with your realityconfig.py file
