Why is dolphin diving and maintaining perfect accuracy on the target realistic? Example, having an enemy run past you, pump 2 rounds into his back only for him to be able to perform a jump somersault in the space of a metre and get you back with one shot?
How am I able to make totally pin point accurate shots with an AK47 from a distance of well over 300 metres yet not from 5 metres? No, it is isn't my aiming.
DICE's BF2 centred engine ain't built for realism, it is flawed.
Thanks, see ya.
Someone explain to me...

ehhh, it is not realistic, and we would remove it if we could, but we can not.
and you tell me why? you should be able to hit somone 5m away, I can, just point, and shoot. If you are just not use to there being no crosshair in the middle of the scren with pratice, you know where abouts the center of the screen is (ie, where your gun is point, ie, like in real life) but you are never sure. So that is realistic is it not? all it takes is pratice.
We know the BF2 engine has many problems, but whats the point in crating a "realisum mod" for a game that is already built around realisum like ArmA? we wouldnt be able to change much...
PS. bye

...Well... In my darkest hours of spite against the elitist realism hogs on this forum, I gather the urge to ask...'[R-DEV wrote:Rhino']We know the BF2 engine has many problems, but whats the point in crating a "realisum mod" for a game that is already built around realisum like ArmA? we wouldnt be able to change much...
PS. wlecome to the forums but not sure if you are going to stay from your "see ya".....
If there's no point in creating a realism mod for ArmA, as it is realistic enough (and I understand that you're trying to get to that level of realism)... Then why don't we all buy Armed Assault? It looks the more impressive for realistic battles, and it has online play.
But then I realise that just because another game is realistic, doesn't mean there isn't a reason to make BF2 (or any other game, for that matter) realistic. Because there's that certain something that makes BF2 enjoyable; it could just stand to be a bit more realistic, that's all.
Anyway. I got that out of my system. So to the original question; no, dolphin diving isn't realistic. But then again, BF2 will never be realistic. All we have to do is pretend it is realistic, until Science! comes up with exo-suits that allow real soldiers to dolphin dive.
(Although that might cause these people to start calling the real soldiers "N00BS!"
