More Points for a Leader

Post by Garack »

HI!

When i play a SL how i like it then:

I stay a little behind, cause my team needs me ro spawn on

I give ARi orders and spot with my Bino other troops

I run the hole fight in order to search the right place for a rally point

I command

AND then

I Have no points, only kills and death

Come on .. a little more points..cause this job is hard full time and very importend.

- If you are in the vicinity of either your commander or squad leader, you will receive a 25% additional point bonus, and if you are in the vicinity of both, you will receive a 50% point bonus!

- When a teammate scores a point, you will receive 25% of its point value.

- When a squad member scores a point, you will receive an additional 25% of its point value (50% total).

individual point should go, there should just be the squads points, that way the better your squad works together the more points you would gain. thus eliminating some of the smacktards.

Right, Points dont matter a lot to me. But everybody like to get points and higher ranks on a ladder. I play this style even if i will be the last one in the scores. But i want a little cake for my effort.

As a Medic i get lots of points, everytime i play medic i got more then play a SL.

I know that there is a point system for SL, but for me it dont works as it should. Any other Experiance as SL ?

What bugs me is the ability to check on the score board if that last firefight resulted in a kill. Ok, I see my kills went up, it's ok to push forward. Nothing changed? Ok, stay crouched and see if he comes out again.

It almost completely bypasses the identification of who killed who. Hopefully further down the PR evolution, scores will be handed after each round. Maybe a delay in the kill count could do as a quick fix, if it's possible at all.

Come on people let's be blunt about it; Positive Points are the "currency" in a FPS like it or not. Just as negative points indicating personal error or ineptitude are like getting fined.

I mean dig it, you shouldn't be motivated to play just for points, but if you play well you deserve/expect to be paid...right? As a personal illustration; I get a few negative points I automatically go medic to "earn" my way back to positive.

To prove my point hypothetically, and be honest about it; if you could totally wipe your points off the board before the final score was shown, would you? Or would you only delete your negative or low score rounds and retain just the high score rounds?
