Sorry if I am spamming your boards, but I had a new idea taht is totally unrelated to my last topic.
Perhaps you can make the Predater system (AT) more complex, one by allowing there to be two modes Up and Over firing, and direct firing (for vehicles under bridges). This would work similar to switching rate of fire on another weapon, just select the type of shot you want to take. The Up and over way of fireing would cause the tank to be severly damaged or destroyed because it is being hit from the top, the direct would depend on where you aim it.
Also you could add a locking system and a range meter. This might be achieved by mimicking the ways AA missiles lock on. Also smoke should be able to deteur a lock and range finder, but after firing the missile will track on its own, so that way if smoke is deployed most of the time unless the top of the tank is shielded by smoke it should be able to maintain the lock while it is inflight.
Also these way 60 pounds I don't know anyone who could run around with these, force the player to set it up so he stands still crouched and can move very slowly.
Now in addition to the detraction they should be made more powerful and do more damage and able to shoot further, and with a lock on feature it will almost unless the tank deploys smoke (wich should block the lock on and laser) garuntee a hit. Also on a side not these missiles are fire and forget.
AT to simple.

when i saw this i thought u were talking about makeing it take longer to shoot, in real life an AT rocket will take out a tank but takes some time to set up and fire but i do like the indirct fire mode but it should have like a 15-30 sec lock on time real life it takes minuts to get it ready to fire

Yesyou would have to slim the time due to gameplay factors, but it should take about 5 seconds to get ready and lock on should be about 5 seconds aswell, but the real deal here is that it would be long range and you would not be firing it in a direct path of a tank, so you would have the advantage of being hidden.
Also if this is incroporated they should only get 1 round of AT and then throw it away.
