MOAB
I think a C-130 that can drop MOABs would be a good idea. However, you have to sit on the tarmac for 5 minutes before the bomb is loaded. This would be good in places like Kashan. In the spirit of teamwork, however, this thing is a lumbering target that cannot go above 200 alt. and 400 in speed. A MiG/J-10 can down it using both of it's BVR missiles or 4 of its IR ones.

I don't think anyone is going to want to wait 5 minutes just to drop one bomb. This may as well be a commander-deployed asset.TF6049 wrote:I think a C-130 that can drop MOABs would be a good idea. A single huge bomb woulndnt be that handy. For taking out tanks guied missiles and normal iron bombs or JDAM type weapons are better. And for a wider area of effect, if we're really lucky the Dev's might be able to get cluster bombs working for MP.
The key to modernising any weapon is covering them in glue and tossing them in a barrel of M1913 rails until they look "Modern" enough.
Many thanks to [R-DEV]Adriaan for the sig!

As a result of the above, thread clamped for parking on a resuggested line.workingrobbie wrote:Before El_Vikingo hurts you, this has been suggested. And I don't think it was approved.
Please be cautious. The re-suggested region is a red-route and your thread may be towed or you will be fined a max penalty of 300.00GBP.
