One question or more a request, how big is the possibilitiy that u put FN P90, M240G ang HK G36 in the game (my favorite submachine gun/rifle/machine gun.....as u can see... )

And one more thing im interested in is the squad spawn on their leader.....it be more realistic to paradrop squad members, not to spawn next to the leader...the idea would be....squad members spawn above the leader in the sky in a radius of 4 meters around the leader...in mabye 400 M high, as members spawn the parashute opens....a couple of seconds after the spawn..... the member falls to the ground or whatever next to his leader...the point is that reinforcing is dangerous, couse you can be shoot down wery easly (only nuts people with yellow papers would do it )...........but it be one more step to the reality....aint it right boys ???

i like it, its like in BF2142 with when the squad leader buts down a beackon and u fall 2 earth in a pod.

as for p90 and g36, I don't think they will be added since none of the current faction uses them. Though maybe the p90 for mec tank crew?

And while suddenly appearing next to your SL isn't that realistic, neither are 1 man paratroop drops into the middle of a firefight.

FN P90 isnt used by any armies featured in the game
M240 could be a possibility for infantry as a heavy machine gun (and is already on the Saxon and Land Rover)
G36, used by the Germans, Germans arent in the game.

I have a question that is a bit off topic but anyway:
Why did the devs use the G3 instead of the G36 for the MEC? No complaint no nothing, it's just curiosity since the G36 is already in the game in several variants, I think around 4 with the ones in Special Forces. And it's also too late to change but I'd just like to know.
On topic, SEALS, or any other special forces group for that matter, won't be in game as far as I know, ever.
And parachuting isn't always anymore realistic than a magical rallypoint as mentioned by someone else, I mean who will make a jump in a jungle such as Mao Valley?
I've heard the MEC are getting the Mp7 as a PDW, not the P90.

I think they do not use the G36 because it is pretty new(meaning only a few years ~.~) and nearly only used by the german Bundeswehr.
Since it is new and also kinda high tech(mainly using polymers in place of metal,haveng red-dot and 3x-optics simultanously etc.) it would be quite costly.
The G3 on the contrary got useless for the Bundeswehr as the G36 became the standart-issue rifle.But since it's still good quality a very big number was sold.If the MEC would exist,it would be a perfect rifle for them:average price,good quality(not like Ak-47)and good durability.
And,because of gameplay reasons,an G36 would just feel to high-tech for a country without big industry&stuff.

And the P90 seems to be another europe-exclusive weapon,while the Mp7 has the potential to be an export-hit like the Mp5.

Nothing to say about the G36/P90 that hasn't already been said, but at least the idea about paratrooping is a creative idea in regards to a definite issue for a realism mod.

The G3 was chosen as it is in use in the region. The G36 is not.

The M240 is basically an FN MAG, which is (in a slightly modified form) the L7A1 GPMG, which is already in game (mounted on the Landrover and Saxon for brits).

The P90 could definetly be in, in MEC hands. Its used by the Saudis and would be the perfect weapon for MEC tankers. Join my campagin! Get the P90 in for the MEC!

The MP7 is currently in for the Brits as thier VIP PDW.

Exactly!

And it would be a very different weapon from the carbines the US and Brits (and probubly the PLA too) are supposed to be getting for thier tankers.

On topic:
While the P90 is used by the Saudis, the MEC have mostly H&K weapons, and I presume that those that aren't will be replaced eventually. I doesn't really make sense in my opinion for the Brits to get a H&K weapon when they have used and are using some weapons from FN. Besides, don't the Saudis own a lot of US made equipment but which obviously doesn't appear ingame on the MEC side?

it think the MEC should get H&K guns where possible and the rest (like the Sniper rifle) should be other europiean export guns like the Styer Scout, but the crewman gun should be a MP-5k and not a P-90, because the P-90 is kind a exotic, a MP-5k is more likely, also if Saudis use P-90s
