50. cal
I think it'd be cool if there was a '50. cal' class - perhaps called a gunner class. They carry round a 50. cal that can be deployed anywhere - however they cannot sprint. They could just carry a knife and a pistol aswell, but if they equip either of those then they drop the 50. cal and must pick it up again. It'd be useful in defending positions laying down a ton of suppressive fire on the enemy. They would have to deploy the 50. cal somehow in order to use it.
Not sure what heavy machine guns the MEC etc could use (perhaps a MG3?) but I'm sure that could be worked out, would be silly having every faction with a 50. cal. Anyone like this idea?

¬_¬. How the hell can you expect a soldier to lug a .50 cal, plus ammo, plus kit, around a battlefield? That's why they're attached to vehicles, not people.
