How long will this beta last?

No it isn't as fun playing the beta but 0.6 final will be better then playing 0.5 (and will arrive that much faster and complete the more beta testers there are)

EXACTLY. To the people posting saying they CBA downloading the beta, fine. If that's your opinion, do not waste our time reading about how friggin lazy you are. There are guys working their arses off to work through bugs and get them sorted to ensure you get a stable, reliable build when 0.6 is fully released.

If I see people posting 'I cba downloading the beta coz I'm lazy', they will get a temp ban for their time. If you take the time to let us know how you cant be arsed downloading something that half of you winge to get in the first place, or constantly PM me about tester access just to see the builds before others, then I have all the damn time in the world to remove your access for a while.

Bear in mind that testers usually end up downloading 2gb a week coming up to a release.

How many EUROPEAN servers are there?

Well ours is up. I don't think there are any other Euro servers. Russian Reality have one up I believe so the ping isn't too bad off that. Apart from that, there's a Aus one, a Jap one and 3 US ones.

I played on the iGi one last night. Some really good teamplay going on which I haven't seen for a long time on PR.

what's the matter with the torrent? it took me about 3 hrs to download the beta. this is quite fast imho and fileplanet would have taken longer i think. just take the time and configure ur torrent client properly and read about how things work before complaining.

aaah, and yes, seeeeeed!

Adding the FilePlanet mirror was a nice move. After spending about 8 hours trying to properly configure my torrent settings, computer, and router and over 16 hours of downloading at speeds of 7-36 k/bps I had to abandon the torrent at about 50%. I learned more about torrents and how to configure them in those 24 hours then I ever hoped to learn and was still unsuccessfull. Despite some people's best efforts, torrents aren't always the answer. I was grateful for the FilePlanet option. I was able to download the whole file in 36 minutes.

lol ive dwnloaded more than that

i had the original open beta, then they brought out a new 1 fro all u lot so i had to down laod all of that XD so 2gb in a day XD

i don't have a problem with the fileplanet mirror

. im just saying that i prefer torrents to fileplanet. if you want help configuring your torrent program and router for the future, you can pm me and i'll help you.
