I think its because Rhino got stung by a bug large like a fist, and know spends his time prone spamming each time he hears a buz.
So until a proper bug spray is included into the game, that map is out.

They got rid of Mao (one of the best maps in the mod!) and Kept street?

WHY?
The key to modernising any weapon is covering them in glue and tossing them in a barrel of M1913 rails until they look "Modern" enough.

Funny thing is, i havent bee able to play anything other tahn Kunshan or albashra.

The servers always have those two maps, and the round times are too long.

ye well, with players having to vote for the next map to be changed, or server admins chaning it, all most players want to do is play thous 2 maps and hardly any of the other maps are getting played in the beta which is a real shame. And when AoM comes up for a vote all you see is ppl saying "im not going to vote as i have low gfx and crash on the map"...

airport - Not very good for PR, bye!
goods station - Very CS-crappy map. Good riddance
mao valley - I was never a fan but I know some people love it, it was popular in rotation
muttrah - Muttrah 2 is coming so this can go
Operation Crompton - Rarely ran on servers. Poor map.
Operation Greasy Mullet - A great armor based map that could get tedious
Steel Thunder - An awesome map great for playing Armor, infantry and everything. Above all the others this one should stay. Please devs, save this classic map of awesomeness. :thumbsup:

Mao Valley was legendary. I had some of the most intense firefights i have ever had in PR on that map.

It was one of the few maps that allow awesome use of fireteams and therefore tactics.

Not a perfect map, but i dont know of any. IT was much better in terms of ability to use tactics that:

* Hills of Hamgyong
* Inishail Forest
* Operation Pheonix

Mao had much much more room to flank than on those maps and therefore made rally point placing actualy possible.
It also look gorgeous.

In conclusion, by the end of writing this i have quite saddened and shocked becuase of the quality of games that could be had on the that map compared to some of the map you have kept and some of the Vanilla maps you have brought back.

I agree Rhino that 0.6 has some truely excellent maps but Mao had very few faults in my mind and actualy alot going for it, so i do ask you to reconsider it.....no chance but hay, worth a shot.

EDIT: WOOW, WOOOW, WOOW: * Road to Kyongan'Ni - a good map but in terms of flag capture it is on par and in part worse than Mao Valley. THe river also limits and contains battle to much, creating highly predictalbe combat, more so than on Mao. THEREFORE this map in terms of ability to use tactics is similar and in a few ways WORSE THAN MAO VALLEY. But it is in 0.6 and Mao valley is not.

I measure the quality of map, on players ability to have firefights, flank, defend flags, sneek around ext., therefore i like to consider my views on maps to be fair and quite decent.

In Mao Valley you don't need much room to flank. I've low crawled right past the enemy lots of times. I've gotten so many knife kills on that map. IMO its a great map because you never know what you'll come up on, maybe a couple enemies or a whole enemy squad.

but why?
that map was adorable, I hated it at first.. but it teached me PR gameplay:
keep it slow, stay stealthy and you'll succeed.
it is the only jungle map the mod has, so it makes no sense. there is ghost train but it hasn't really a jungle flavour to it. doesn't mean I don't love that map aswell.
besides jungle the mod has almost all sorts of terrain covered, snowy maps still missing.
just, please let it still be there in 0.6 or tell me there's a new jungle map on the horizon.
