If you know him, please tell him to get in the Project Reality teamspeak channel so we can explain the concept of realism to him... he seems to think it takes 14 bullets to the chest to kill someone in real life...

Sometimes you really need 14 bullets. You only should not hit vital organs :D

you'd have to be very lucky to survive with 14 bullets from a short distance into the chest... anyway you get my point. he seems to think prmm is less realistic than bf2. :?

Pretty funny stuff I have to say, considering we didn't even have the time to start tweaking/altering the code of aerial assets. Shows you how much respect some people have after the hours & hours we put into this project.

Just to inform you all:
PRMM vehicle physics are vanilla BF2 vehicle physics, we didn't have the time to tweak it for PRMM 0.2. the Littlebird physics are using the BF2 physics model.

Bf2 aircraft physics are bad, we all know that, we'll try to make some changements into that with PR 0.1

Oh, and I took the liberty of adding my 2cents in there. I suggest you read it for amusement :-D

talk about pointless argument. Where the human ego is concerned and machismo comes into play... That thread is nothing but a testosterone magnet... And I'm not talking babes now...

Let them wallow in their own misery and drown in their ignorance.
We few, we happy few, we band of PR knows the humble truth well enough to let this drop into the abyss where it belongs.

You are correct.

Although I found some inner joy in giving him a literary beatdown, to which he had nothing to say but thank you.

That's right.

that cant be PRMM 2 as PRMM 2 should have a BH on that level. well on the 32 man map anyway. also, they didnt have time to reconfigure the flying vehicles physics. thats BF2's flying physics as i WOULD know, i do barrle rolls etc to dodge jets fire all the time. why didnt you try showing the accuracy of the guns in PR? or the fact that tanks can now zooom in? or that they can change betweeen SABOT and HEAT. or that the troopers crosshairs as well as the mounted MG's crosshairs have been removed? you ignorant prik. go play your "realistic" BF2 where you bullets go anywhere BUT where you are aiming and where grenades can blow up M1A2 abrams tanks. (where grenades can blow up M1A2 abrams tanks <- LOL). and the rest of you peopel who now think PR is making BF2 even more UNrealistic, go download it. it doesnt take long and its free and doesnt effect your BF2. dont nock it before youv tried it.

Although the video doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me, he did make a few valid points. I replied.

Maybe he's on about the M4? They're **** when it comes to giving their projectile stopping power.

Ok I read the whole thing and looked at the vid... I don't think this shit for brains has actually seen a real chopper. I've seen choppers (granted, not so low or the Cobra) pull of that kind of thing, such as the German Tiger, and the Russian Ka-50 range.

God damn "1337erz". I can't stand those kind of narrow minded "everything sucks except Valve or EA" arse cravers.

They obviously don't understand that if it wasn't for people like us they'd have no god damn mods and they'd be stuck with the **** EA forece feed them, they don't understand that we're still sticking with this thing even though the engine clearly isn't made for easy modding, and the fact the tools are a shambles.

Oh well, we can use the old "if you don't like it don't get it" argument here, it's not like they pay for any of our mods is it? Why should they moan when all they're "wasting" is their precious time.

EDIT: Actually I wonder how many takes it took for him to "prove his point".

he did make a point even if it was rude, the chopers should evntualy be changed. he should have found out that the mod is not finished. one thing in piticular that was unrealistic is real piolets could not jump out of there hellie run acrose it, in the air and get back in (that was cool). the person is a smart *** who just wanted to complain.

i saw that there were people on the form who were sticking it to him good not as much as he deserves i think.

i find the most aggrevating point is the fact that none of them picked up on the teeny weeny fact that it is only v0.2 ...not the finished product
