I have experienced a few realism mods for fps games and it is inevitable that smacktarded noobs will discover it and attempt to add it to their list of games they pwn at. They do so without regard to the spirit in which the mod was developed....namely realism.

They will not use vehicles or equiptment properly. Since they will soon discover that the pwnage kits are limited they will squad up only to try to get these kits and if they can't get these kits, they won't think twice about killing you to get it.

There is really no way to keep these people from downloading PR and joining servers. The more popular the game becomes, the more of these people you will see. The only way I see that might help to supress this is to clearly state some server rules and have an admin that admins based on these rules.

The only other way I can think of is to start a league within the community where membership is only open to those who agree to abide by a set of behavioral guidelines and play in the manner intended (meaning using vehicles and equiptment in a proper manner and playing realistically.)

Admittance to this league is subject to review and once admitted, it would give you access to servers who's admins have agreed to run their servers according to these guidelines. Violation of said guidelines would result in a player being banned from the league and these servers.

Its an idea that could work if enough people felt strongly enough and put some effort into it.

Quite a few times I have had a sniper rifle and be looking down my scope to see someone on my team come up to me and then blatantly TK me. This if followed by "Sorry chief" as they steal my weapon. Earlier I saw someone in a Cobra just indiscriminately TKing everyone on our team until he was kicked. :-( It's really annoying, especially as you may have to wait for up to 50 seconds before respawning.

As much as I hate the new people not respecting the mod, I still want to see full servers. I say as long as there are more respectful players as the bad ones, we'll be fine. Plus the new players will get tired of this mod and probably go to another game, while the ArmA guys will get tired of that game and they’ll come back to PR (I know I did). Then again, I’m guessing a lot of people will also switch to Insurgency mod when it comes out. I know other than PR I"ll spend a few hours on Insurgency as will. :p

I used to fill the page with no breaks too but it reads easier if you go back and add some paragraphs.
Note for future thanks)

I wouldn't worry. 0.6 is going to be WAY too annoying for noobs. They will give up fast.

Don't bet on it. People went into squads and assaulted the Facility in Al Basrah, only to get killed on sight from just about every insurgent in the area, so they decided to either go solo (hillarious seeing a Cobra which flies around non-stop, since it doesnt have a gunner to engage) or plane camped at A10 or simply TK'd for no reason...

So my guess is, that the smacktards, who will stay, will just TK players and assets and do the dumbest shit ever..

Well with the open beta, I have found out that a lot of these forums members are tards. Up the point where I scream WTF were they thinking.

Revive without clearing the area first? Lonewolf? Whine & Complain?

Im glad I know guys who will have teamwork, because I always kick you guys out of my squad.

Just take a noob under your wing and teach them. In v.31 I was a noob and IGI guys were in my squad, taught me the basics and look at me now. Best Bradley Driver and Tank Driver in the game ;)

zZzZz.....how can you clear an area before revive, if 1.) no one cares that someone died, 2.) no one gives a damn if YOU try to revive him...

Havent found a good squad yet, which I could hang with, I always get kicked out when I try to hang with some vets, probably cos they are on TS and already have everything planned perfectly...

Only squad I liked, was "Spec Op" ran by Soulja..we were blowing up insurgent stuff on .5 Basrah, only to get killed by SVD sniper, after we got rid of 2/3 aa guns, ammo dumps and vehicles...
I felt like in teamwork heaven, then Soulja left and when I asked, where he went, they whined, that he was too bossy..after that the squad went to hell in a hand basket, cos the new(b) SL couldnt manage anything...

Haha, today i was in SpecOps Squad on Al Basrah as the brits and it was a great Squad.

Great teamwork, the leader ordered two medics and everyone was happy ;)

But then near the end of the round the SL suddenly vanished.....we had 13 tickets left either.

But sometimes the noobs freak the hell out of me. Running around at Oasis in EJOD when we already had to defend outpost. Everyone screamed over chat (lol) but they just didn realize it.....and it was three squads not at outpost out of five....
