While we are at reality, u know how many private armys are working in iraq..........that be a good idea to add a new faction "the mercs." or something, using european new weapons and so......what u guys think???

I believe a "do it yourself" policy is now operating for people who want to add factions to PR.

Also, Private Contractors (the Mercenaries of the Cold War era are long gone, any of them still in the game have more or less gone over to the more legit PMC business) have been suggested before, and deemed an unrealistic side to impliment, IIRC.

The DEV's have said they don't want PMC's so that is it for now.
Who knows what will happen in the future ?
Civilians are a new twist so maybe PR 1.2 ?

I think this is the 1000th time it has been suggested. For the most realistic portrayal of this you would have only escort/escape maps for the conractors, and no respawn for their side.

To be fair, isn't there a "foreign mercenary" class serving in the Insurgent faction in one of the extraction maps? If the USMC or GB had something similar...
