 I took me hour to download .5
.6 took same amount of time

But yeah, if dont have good connection theres no way around it, use torrent or dowload manager so you can download it in pieces.

Lol I downloaded pr .5 and .6 at the same time and took me like an hour and a half...

If it takes that long, I know how it feels I used to have to deal with the same shit about 4 years ago only dl'n at 30-40kbs [now I get like 200-600kb/s], just set it up overnight. I prefer Sunday nights that way if I want to do something I can game out on Monday night, or have it for some light gaming during the week and for gaming on the weekend.

Zearo wrote:This might not belong here but for me it takes 10 hours to download PR. the Mod sounds really good, and i'd quiet like to play it, but my poor internet speed does not allow it. Is there any way to mail it out or a quicker way to download it?
Well it's been about 10 hours since you posted this, so I don't see the problem? You should have it by now.

Torrents are your friend when large files are involved. ;)

Just so you know, mailing it would take longer than 7 hours

Don't like it? Don't download it. Oh, and ESPECIALLY don't waste our time posting about how annoying it is. That annoys US.

Also keep in mind that the openbeta is not really for the general public, but rather for the PR community to test. So at least for the open beta, torrent is our primary way of distribution, so we don't have to spend several days setting up mirrors and can release more frequently.

For releases, we do our best to set up direct-link mirrors to please everybody (impossible).

That said, the torrent is typically your best bet UNLESS your ISP throttles them or your router is not configured properly. What I especially like about torrents is the ability to verify the file. No corrupted downloads ;) And should it get corrupted, you can have it fix it by verifying it.
