Changing ammo in APC

Post by IRONxMortlock »

I'm aware this is possible but I can't figure out how to do it. In a tank I just use my mouse scroll button. How do I do it in an APC?

Yeah, for some reason I couldn't get the scroll function to work on the APC. For now use F or 1, 2, 3. Hopefully we can get this resolved for the next version.

SABOT is an armor piercing round. It does not contain an explosive.
HEAT rounds are high explosive rounds that have a larger damage radius and thus are better used against infantry. HEAT rounds are effective against armor as well, but not the latest armor.

aye i dont like it as a 3rd weapon either, I prefered when i could just pop it instantly and retreat behind the smoke screen

Ditto with the smoke. IRL it's not like it's another type of round that gets loaded into the main gun - it's either canisters ready to pop on the sides of the vehicle or the old method of spraying deisel on the exhaust.

and you dont have to fire the main weapon like a mortar anymore either as you did in bf'42. as for me i never really used smoke anyway, and the zoom is much more important IMO.
