What about the Plan from Al Basra, to use bridges as runways. I believe that actually worked, the problem as forcing people to take off and land on the runways.
Anyway, the F16 need Cluster Bombs. And Maveriks. And Rockets. I still want to see one tooled up for ground attack rather than air to air.

The key to modernising any weapon is covering them in glue and tossing them in a barrel of M1913 rails until they look "Modern" enough.
Many thanks to [R-DEV]Adriaan for the sig!

^ reminds me of f-16 multirole fighter game, that game was perfect and still rocks even though its like almost 10 years old.
nothing beats defending the airbase with you a wingman and 10 ofther f-16s & raptors, (yes they were put in game) againts 30+ migs and mirages.
or flying through relistic flak (2 hits and your out, 1 hit failure of systems) to bomb a power station while having to fight more migs on the way back.
best thing was lack of censorship, cocpit was almost 1:1 to irl and none of the simplified arcady bs, dropping bomb on left wing made you tilt left till you dropped the right one, red outs, black outs, g forces, radar jamming, radar on/off, tv giuded, ir guided, heat guided, dumb bombs with accurate splash, nightvision, chaff + counter measures, endless buttons to adjusst everything else, 25km to 100meter engagement ranges, relistic loads outs, no bs 100 missiles, smart damage, accurate fuel usage, afterburner +10 mins = no fuel on long missions, having to land & taxi to re-arm, samsites were a ****ing pain in the *** not crappy little stinger guns, anti shipping missions, brilliant ai skills huuuuuuuuge maps, awacs planes for radar, no awacs = no radar only on board radar= bollocksed = protect at all costs, to name but 15% of the game dam it was beautiful.
dam im going to play it now,

Heh! Then you are really missing out.
Falcon 4.0 made F16 MRFP look like an arcade game!
But for real fun you should try Lock On: Modern Air Combat.

To take off with the F16 give 100% throttle. When it starts moving add afterburner (dunno if it works without it ^^ ). Then pull your nose up! You should touch the hesco thingies. After and only after you flew over the hesco turn immediately left or right and make a sharp curve. Otherwise you'll take healthdamage from the mapborder.

Go full throttle and after burners. Then once you "hit" the runway, you will pictch up and the second your nose is above the fence level off so you don't catch your tail and explode. You will end up out of bounds so you need to hit full afterburners and head left. If done properly you will not take any damage and should get inbounds at the LAST second. Make sure you don't head inbounds till your airspeed is fairly high so you can actually turn.
